Langston recently came under new ownership and we're starting to see some of their recent investments take shape and drastically improve the overall conditions of the course. From what I can tell, new irrigation systems have been installed so overall fairway conditions have improved significantly. Greens are really starting to improve and speed up. Hole 10 has gotten a lot of TLC and it shows. Looking forward to see what other investments the new owners make in the coming years and the continued improvement of the course!

Read up on driving range options in DC area and based on reviews wanted to stop by - well, I was welcomed warmly by Billy who let me know that range is on other side of course (another review describes entry) and I’ve included a photo of entrance too… Toptracer tech in each driving bay - bring your own tee set up (I always have one as I’ve run into this a number of times), all balls appeared to be reasonably fresh Callaway’s - and friendly vibes abound… So much so that when I returned to thank Billy for his hospitality, the group offered me a Q lunch…! ⛳️ & 🙏

I’ve been playing here for years as it’s only a few minutes from my house. They’ve made massive improvements on the fairways, greens, rough, and sand traps over the past 18 months. The course has some impressive history and is in DC proper, so it’s wonderful to see significant investment in a course that’s still a reasonable price to play.

Don't actually play golf, I came with a friend so she could talk to someone here. I took pictures of the sign and the course from the clubhouse. Note the driving range is entered on Benning Road, NE. By 9:00 they were getting a steady stream of people.

If you’re going for only the range don’t park at the actual club house, drive past the turn off and continue towards the bridge, turning left into the range under the metro overpass. Really well maintained range for great public course prices! If you want a tee though you’ll have to stop by the clubhouse where they’re available for purchase.

Incredible breakfast sandwich! The course isn’t in great shape though and the greens are very slow. Pretty patchy fairways and long grass on the tee boxes. Definitely had fun but not as nice as the East Potomac courses.

If there was a starter that enforced the booked tee times as well as a Marshall that enforces pace of play this place would be 4/5 for me. Unfortunately every time I’ve played here the pace of play is really bad and there’s never a starter to make sure players start on time and are teeing off with their group.

Issues with pace of play today- ranger didn’t seem to care and the course was soaked in certain spots, which is understandable given the rain had days before. would definitely play again. very challenging in certain aspects and wide open for some fairways.
